How many of us have seriously noticed the driver the moment we board the UBER cab? For that matter be it any cab we take frequently !
We are running in an era where we can book a cab as simple as dialing a phone call. Easy isn't it..! Yes, All Thanks to UBER and OLA who made it easy for us. Once the cab is booked we are bothered only about the number of the cab and we check in the moment it is at our doorstep. We notice if the driver is cordial, scary or friendly. But how many of us notice if the driver and profile of the driver in the app are same? Do we really care ? Is the car number being same sufficient to ensure the safety?
Here lies our responsibility as a rider. We have numerous categories for any kind of issues we may experience while we experience a ride. Open the app, click on Your rides, choose it, raise the flag, complain !! Let the UBER management know what kind of issues their riders face, if any.
I have had a similar experience twice this month of Aug 2017. I have not kept quiet . I have raised the alarm. To my surprise UBER gave a prompt response and in addition to that they have also refunded my ride fare to show their gratitude and to ensure the customer relationship. Kudos UBER !!
Not just this, the Govt has also introduced the SOS feature to raise the alarm in case of emergencies. How many of us are really bothered about all these? SOS can be used while you are on ride. You can see the option on your screen. This immediately raises the alarm to nearest police station when pressed. Click here aafter you read this blog post.
#IMHO in all those cases of hasty incidents the drivers would have crossed the line many times . But none of us have raised an issue nor opened our mouth at least once. Had any one of those earlier riders raised an alarm against the cab or driver, the issues like abduction/rape might not have happened. #MyTwoCents
Its a good practice to open your mouth for anything wrong, and to appreciate little things around you. That's why FEEDBACK is important!! Keep giving feedback.. be it UBER or OLA or for my blog post ;)
